Referring to diverse traditions, TEA SPACE is inventing new ceremonial forms situated in the context of art and architecture, giving an update to existing cultural practices and reinventing the tea space with contemporary forms.

TEA SPACE is a project that connects diverse tea cultures to create space for collective experiences, contemplation, sensual explorations, for the expansion of consciousness – and much more.

By opening locations for special performances, immersive experiences and ceremonial events TEA SPACE promotes transformation on the personal, collective, planetarian, and on the cosmic level.

The program of TEA SPACE is mainly inspired by Japanese and Chinese tea ceremonies, which can be considered as spiritual and aesthetic practices to enjoy the presence of the moment.

The TEA SPACE consists of commonly accessible area, the tea bar for serving tea on the basis of daily opening hours, and separate tea rooms for ceremonies and special events. The type of tea rooms range from intimate spaces for the gathering of a small number of people up to a more generous space allowing sound immersions and other special events. While the tea bar is open to the public the tea rooms can only be booked for ceremonies and events.
In addition TEA SPACE is conceived with a contemporary versions of a Japanese Garden indoors as well as outdoors.
